TODO for 2.12.0 (the last python > 3.6.0 release):

• telling < 3.6.2 user to upgrade or take 2.9.3 instead. Add an exception at install for python < 3.6.2 #5171
• Release astroid 2.8.5
• Add section to WhatsNew mentioning the change Add a whatsnew entry for python <3.6.2 incompatibility #5297
• Release astroid 2.8.6
• Do the last the last python > 3.6.0 release for astroid Add an exception at install for python < 3.6.2 astroid#1267 (astroid is still compatible with python 3.6.0)
• Release astroid 2.9.0
• If Include end column / range in message output #5336 is merged, upgrade the output of all functional test expected output with their new end column and confidence
• Resolve Update functional test expected output #5349 (comment) Add min_pyver_end_position option #5386
• Release pylint 2.12.0 as the latest (non) working 3.6.0/3.61 version
