Issue #100 has recurred

After doing flatpak update, issue #100 has recurred.

As this seems to be a stale cache issue, is there any way you can check that and fix it automatically? It is unhelpful to users who have no idea what the issue is.

To be honest, im not sure its something i can fix without nuking the cache every time the app starts (if i can even do that) which defeats the entire point of the cache.
From what i can gather it seems to occur when some kind of graphics driver is updated and the application tries to use the stale cache and just fails rather than starting without.

Maybe if we can figure out exactly what cached file/folder is causing the issue in cache then we can look at just clearing that before the app starts which might be cleaner.

Perhaps you should file a bug against the graphics driver saying it needs to clean its cache when it is updated?

In theory yes but because the cache is split between apps i'm not quite sure how they would do that.
Ill look into it properly at a later date however im currently very busy writing my dissertation.
