Reverts #1510
This breaks some programs under OSX. For example, test
regression/ansi-c/Header_files1
now dies with:goto-cc
of the same file dies complaining about a different identifier. The identifier in question comes from/usr/include/math.h
, which defines__header_always_inline int __inline_signbitl(long double __x) { ... }
(i.e. the bad symbol reference resolves to an always-inline function's parameter).Backing this out for now so @tautschnig can take another pass at this.
