What are your ideas for a tagline?

  • Learning across the aisle.
  • Sharing across the aisle.
  • Crossing the aisle, together.
  • Continuous learning on both sides of the aisle.
  • Dev and Ops, Public and Private, Constituents and Customers
  • We can do better than Congress!
  • We choose DevOps, not because it is easy, but because it is hard...
  • Invent Your Future
  • "A house divided against itself cannot stand". # can't go wrong with Abe +1

From Derek Weeks: better to set a 1 - 3 word limit for the tagline to be effective. For example, using shorter tag lines tends to work better in social media channels like twitter.

  • Continuous Improvement
  • Engage
  • Share

From Robert Treat: not all devopsdays use a tag line, but the ones who do play off their location to make it memorable. I do agree we need to keep it short, but we want it to have local context.

  • bi-partisan engineering +1
  • break the gridlock
  • hope and change
  • for the people
  • the opposite of congress
  • engineering without politics
  • be the change
  • No new silos!
  • Change is in-session.
  • Change, unbound.
  • change for precedence.
