How to show generated labels?

The label property only allows setting the key of object properties. How can additional information be added to the label, e.g. not only the value but also the strings like meta data?

On my side, I map the options to an array of { label: 'XX', value: YY } object before passing it to the component. It allows me to compute the label as I want 🤷. However, it's true that some getValue, getLabel, and compareBy functions would be great.
