Ah! This is no more an issue!! I tested for my old users as well as tested by creating a new user. I am not able to reproduce this.

I am closing this. If it gets reproduced, let's re-open.

I found the issue and able to fix, but in existing new nav the placeholder avatar looks not right.

Check:

We need to use placeholder avatar from old nav?
