EDIT:
semantic-release-friendly commits can be made by usingnpm run commitnow. Using this as a commit convention ensures thatsemantic-releasewill be able to determine whether a version bump should be patch, minor, or major without anyone having to remember what type of bump is required (as long as the prompts for the type of commit are adhered to correctly)
