This is probably fairly low on the list of priorities, but it's an itch I've been wanting to scratch for a while. Having finally given up on jQuery style (thanks to Prettier), the code the compiler generates feels at odds with the code that generates it, and was starting to become slightly inconsistent.
All this PR amounts to is removing extraneous whitespace and being consistent about using double quotes for strings. Hopefully uncontroversial so I'll merge it straight in, lest it get in the way of other stuff
