   • Our tests use MongoDB 5.0 and 8.0, both fully supported
   • Released: November 29, 2021

2. elasticsearch: >=9.0.0 → >=8.0.0

   • elasticsearch-py 8.x fully supports Elasticsearch 8.0+
   • CRITICAL: Version 9.x client will NOT work with Elasticsearch 8.x servers
   • Our tests use Elasticsearch 8.0.0 and 9.1.4, both require elasticsearch-py 8.0+
   • Released: February 10, 2022

3. cachetools: >=6.0.0 → >=5.0.0

   • Version 5.0.0 requires Python 3.7+ (we require 3.10+)
   • Stable API between versions 5.x and 6.x
   • Released: December 2021

4. diskcache: >=5.6.0 → >=5.0.0

   • Version 5.x is stable and supports Python 3+
   • Pure Python with no C dependencies
   • No breaking changes between 5.0 and 5.6

Kept Current Constraints:

• redis: >=4.3.0 (already loosened in PR Loosen redis version constraint from >=6.0.0 to >=4.3.0 #68)
• hvac (Vault): >=2.3.0 (appropriate for Vault 1.12+)
• valkey-glide: >=2.1.0 (appropriate for Valkey 7.2+)
• aiomcache: >=0.8.0 (conservative, no explicit compatibility docs)
• aioboto3: >=13.3.0 (conservative for DynamoDB Local)
