AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'SPIBusFast'

When trying to import a display configuration module, I encounter an AttributeError indicating that the lcd_bus module doesn't have a SPIBusFast attribute.

Hey @straga I also had some questions about SPIBusFast. Is it a custom class for lcd_bus you made specifically to allow for this project, or is it something supposed to be already available in normal lcd_bus. Because i want to compile new firmware for my board, and I get the same issue @0LostConnection got, and I can't find SPIBusFast anywhere in the lvgl_micropython binding. I have gone to https://github.com/de-dh/ESP32-JC3248W535-Micropython-LVGL/tree/main/lvgl9_firmware and looked at the commit he used to build the firmware for his project and still SPIBusFast is nowhere to be seen in the lcd_bus.

If this is a custom class, you made can you please share it, and if it isn't where, and how exactly do I get access to it?

@otakusociety I manually copied the neccessary files from @straga 's repo to my lvgl_micropython source files and compiled it since it wasn't yet implemented in the lvgl_micropython main branch. Look at the description here: https://github.com/de-dh/ESP32-JC3248W535-Micropython-LVGL/tree/main
I was able to run both examples (portrait and landscape) with this firmware.
I'm no expert, it's possible I made a mistake somewhere.

I've just tested it and it works if you follow my instructions.
Be aware that this firmware and the driver use those https://github.com/lvgl-micropython/lvgl_micropython bindings and not the official ones. Before using it, be sure to read all the instructions in the repos.

Hi Straga, I also tried the fast_spi update and the code runs. Thanks for that. However, if I make an update to my program and soft-reboot the esp (ctrl-d) , which I normally do, I get the error from lv_config.py at line 60 (quad_spi definition) : can't convert module to int. Any idea how to solve this?

soft-reboot the esp (ctrl-d) - not works with LVGL, look original README in micropython_lvgl

I think that is because it tries to initialize again.
maybe you can try something like this:

I believe Straga is right to state that it is due to lvgl.

Yes, you must always do a hard reset.
I solder a custom reset button with a little bit of wire to my boards to make resetting more convenient.
