make fast-check and make check pass with flying colours. I've audited all the uses of char and byte positions by the parser/lexer/pretty-printer/error printer and removed any remaining ambiguities, in my opinion. Errors in files with multibyte characters are printed correctly now, and errors that occur on the first line of a file no longer have hilariously large column numbers.
