Facets testing not quite right

Some build dependencies use Facets, so Facets can't be tested 100% cleanly when these dependencies are loaded by Bundler. Need to make sure this doesn't happen by A) getting rid of dependency on Facets in these tools, and/or B) not depending on them any more.
