Auto scroll to click element in ie9 fails if the window is too small

The elements i was trying to interact with was almost visible when IE navigated to the page, but the auto scroll down feature did not activate.  The elements above and below were fine using the same keyword sequence, and the issue was completely resolved once the window was made larger.  I saw this in IE7 or IE8 too, can't remember which one it was though.
