Hey @redrose4y293, that's because you initialised project with the newest CLI on older React Native version. So for now there are two workarounds for this:

1. Remove node_modules, and reinstall and that should download new CLI from react-native's resolution from package.json, if this still fails you should simply create a new project with npx react-native@0.70 init app --version 0.70, btw if that's new project you should use the newest React Native version, because 0.70 will be soon not supported!
2. Not recommended: delete automaticPodsInstallation field from react-native.config.js file.
