TODO for 2.12.1 (the python > 3.6.2 release):

• Merge Require Python 3.6.2 #5068, and Add flake8-typing-import to the pre-commit configuration #5070
• Remove exception added in Add an exception at install for python < 3.6.2 #5171
  (included in Require Python 3.6.2 #5068)
• Release astroid 2.8.5 for python > 3.6.2 and remove any sys.version guards astroid is still compatible with 3.6.0
• Release pylint 2.12.1 explicitly for python > 3.6.2
• Handle this comment Create new Argument class for options #5152 (comment)
