Inconsistent layout from one page to another

Hello,
When updating to 0.10.1 I have noticed that the layout is inconsistent from one page to another. It may be related to #904

In my opinion previous layout was cleaner than the new one.

What do you think ?

the left sidebar is disappearing on some pages because the search box is no longer there (and on 0.9.0 some of your pages have nothing in the left sidebar except the search box). You can revert that change if you want (see docs here).

The main content is shifting sideways sometimes I think because of #861 (?) and is already reported in #904 (by you).

I'll close because the first issue (left-sidebar hide-when-empty behavior) is expected and there's a config option to bring back the search box if you want it; and the second issue (main content shifting around) is already reported in #904. Feel free to re-open if you think I've missed something here.
