Does it work with react 18?

I'm trying to use this project for the first time, on a project using react 18. I'm unsure if it's actually supposed to work on that react version.

I'm getting an error "Expected subtree parent to be a mounted class component. This error is likely caused by a bug in React. Please file an issue." in case that helps.
