Patch faces not being rendered

Dear developers,

I recently started using the MATLAB API and found this bug. In short, when face data is defined on a patch and exported with fig2plotly, the face information is lost. I've described the problem more thoroughly in this StackOverflow question.

Bumping this. I'm running into the same problem with patches generated by Matlab's fill function.

Last time I checked plotly, it was possible to plot 2D patches as long as you define them 1 by 1, that is all nodes are separate for each patch (even though there are duplicates). 3D patches were/are not supported yet, best you get are the edges.

Thanks for letting me know that I need to define them 1 by 1. I managed to
get the patches working for the data I'm trying to plot.
