travis-ci.org is shutting down, and travis-ci.com is ending the generous free allowance for open source projects, in favour of manually approving allowances of credits for OSS projects. I have no special affinity with Github actions, but it's the path of least resistance for CI.
I also updated the packaging metadata a bit. This shouldn't make any significant difference.
I plan to merge this myself straight away, and cut a new release, as requested by #58.
