change language independently of the operating system

Hello,

is it already possible to change the language of the Remote Console independently from the operating system ?
If not, it would be great if this could be configured.
Some translations are not really well translated into German, for example.

Any progress on this? The translated version is really bad and I think a somewhat modern tool should allow you to chose and change the Interface Language. Also working in an international Team having the interface locked in my local language complicates things when taking screenshots, sharing screen, etc. Please implement a way to change the Language.

For anyone else looking for a way to change the language - As a workaround until this is implemented you can just delete/rename the file in <INSTALL_DIR>/resources/nls corresponding to your language (like electron_de.properties in my case). The WebLogic Remote Console will fall back to the default (english) properties.

Unfortunately this does not change the language when interacting with the server but just the application menus (file, etc.)

I dug a little bit deeper and got the frontend language to be english now. What I have done additionaly:

• inside <INSTALL_DIR>/backend/libs/console-backend-resource-bundles-2.4.14.jar removed all files *_de.properties
• inside <INSTALL_DIR>/backend/console.jar removed all files *_de.properties
• inside <INSTALL_DIR>/backend/console.jar replaced the file frontend/js/resources/nls/de/frontend.js with frontend/js/resources/nls/frontend.js (Just removing the de one does not work as the Remote Console won't start after that)

Please be aware that I cannot guarantee that this workaround does not cause any issues. Just sharing my findings. If you modify any files in the Installation directory, you will do so at your own risk.

We are going to get this in for an upcoming release. We agree that there is a need for it.

Release 2.4.15 has a Setting for language. It requires restarting the console to take effect. I'll leave this issue open to track the need to make it dynamic.

Actually, I changed my mind. I'm going to close this to be clear it is done and I have opened Issue #82 for the dynamic support.
