Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v18 or higher recommended)
• A Google Cloud Project with the Gemini API enabled
• An API Key for Gemini

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/normankong/weather-report.git
   cd weather-report

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install

3. Configure environment variables: Create a .env file in the root directory and add the following:

Usage

Run Mode 1 (Real-Time)

Generates a weather report based on the current weather for the CITY and LOCATION specified in .env.

npm run dev1

Run Mode 2 (Custom)

Generates a weather report with additional parameters (DATE, WEATHER, TEMPERATURE) specified in .env.

npm run dev2

Output

Generated images will be saved in the output/YYYY-MM-DD/ directory.
