NGINX+ Usage Reporting #1451
Description
As a maintainer of NGF
I want to report the cluster uid and node count to NGINX Instance Manager
So that NGINX account managers know how much to charge for NGINX+.
Acceptance
- NGF will report cluster uid, node count, and NGF instances to NIM every 24 hours.
- The user is able to supply their connection url and credentials in a secret which NGF can use to connect to NIM.
- Implementation is performed with collaboration with NGINX Ingress Controller.
- The usage reporting functionality is contained within the control plane software.
