This is not ready, I'm filing this as a PR because I found it uncommitted on my disk as I was using it for faster blake2 multihashes on Node.js for dealing with bulk Filecoin data.
This needs to made browser safe, so it'll switch to the pure-JS version when loaded in the browser and use the addon version where it's available (and can compile—making it compile-fail safe would be nice too).
