GHA Cache API Deprecation #5683

Not sure how to classify this issue, but I've just come across actions/cache#1510 which seems to suggest that the GHA Cache API will be deprecated Jan 31st 2025.
Do you have any guidance on what the effects would be on the GHA cache backend: https://docs.docker.com/build/cache/backends/gha/ ?
Should I expect this backend to stop working on Jan 31st?
