I reviewed the proposal and admittedly, it is over my head. But I collaborate regularly with @TheArcaneBrony, who runs what I consider mission-critical infrastructure (i.e. the Draupnir moderation bot) for the Fedora Project and several other Linux communities on Matrix, which were targeted by the horrible spam attacks some months ago. @TheArcaneBrony works together with the rest of our Fedora Matrix admin team, like @GregSutcliffe, to keep the spammers at bay. I'm keenly aware there is a very heavy human labor behind the moderation support that we have today. So, while I cannot speak to the technical soundness of this MSC, I am confident it is coming from a well-intentioned place with a very real, very experienced perspective in handling these safety issues in large Matrix communities like the Fedora Project and many others.
