Status bar color can get out of sync with the theme

To repro

• Toggle app between light/dark theme and observe status bar color is not adjusting

Acceptance Criteria

• Status bar color is always correct

oh good to know, looks like an iOS 13 specific bug then. Maybe we can implement one of their posted workarounds until the fix lands?

Confirmed that works as expected on Android. I'll look at workarounds for iOS 13
