Investigate the removal/replacement of Fotorama

What needs to be done:

• Analyze and list the usages of the library in the codebase (affected areas)
• Analyze the possible removal of this dependency
• Analyze the possible replacement for this abandoned library if needed
• Describe the impact of these operations
• Perform removal/replacement if possible
• Perform the testing of affected areas (use automated tests if available)
• Provide upgrade recommendations

Conclusion

The further steps have to be approved by Product Owner, since it requires completely changing the JS library responsible for the gallery, which will lead to a completely different product gallery UI.

Moreover, as far as there would be some template changes, these will become BIC.

As solution, we may use a mix between the following JS libraries:

• Fancybox library
• Slick JS Slider Syncing
