Big .ipynb files

I'm having a trouble trying to deal with huge .ipynb files. As I can see, when I save some file with a running kernel, the file is quite huge. There's some way to save files without all the currently loaded information?

It doesn't save anything directly from the kernel - what's saved are the outputs you can see under code cells. There may also be multiple formats of the same output (e.g. a table may have an HTML format and a Latex format).

You can remove some or all outputs from the Cell menu.

The point is that I used Jupyter for a long time and just recently I noticed this "big file issue". Before that, my files was not that big.. But now, it looks like it's saving the outputs too...

It's always saved the outputs. Maybe it has bigger outputs now?

Other times i've used it just save the notebooks without the information. That way, the saved files was always short.
