Thank you for making this clear.
One thing that may be worth considering is that a LICENSE file could be added as that's where many people typically look when it comes to GitHub repositories (assuming the UPL applies to the whole code in this repository including non-article content).
If this is not the case, it may be a good idea to also explain the license for "non-contributed content" in this repository.
