I would just drop tracing from here, because I don't understand how it is checked. Can be done as a separate PR.

Moreover, I would really consider just dropping this test completely, because I'm not even sure that it is still actual and it seems like it has been XFAILed since the moment it was introduced 4 years ago, but that is a separate discussion.
