Given that @josh-hadley & co. are already maintaining a similar bindings for OTS at https://github.com/adobe-type-tools/pyots, maybe we should just use that, and deprecate and close this one?

I have been testing pyots against ots-python and it compares pretty well (generally a bit faster). I think it would work well for fontbakery, etc. but you should be aware of a couple of things before diving in:

• the API is different from ots-python's (not a great deal different, but it's not a drop-in replacement)
• currently, pyots is only building wheels for Mac & Linux. We'd very much welcome help to implement the Windows build (and any other platforms needed for broader support)
