0.5.3 does not install

0.5.3 does not install any dependencies using easy_install. After manually installing the dependencies, setup continues to fail with this message: Setup script exited with error: package directory 'gitdb/test' does not exist

Thanks for the information, and sorry for the inconvenience. I have hidden the new release, so the previous release should install properly.

It was late yesterday, and I even noticed the missing test folder, but assumed I have had my reason to do that some months ago, and assumed the best even though I kind of had a bad feeling about it.

Now I know better :).

I will fix the release and make a new gitpython release this weekend, this time with QA and not a late night :).

A new release of gitdb was uploaded to pypi, which should resolve your issues for sure.
If not, please let me in a comment.
