A page should be added that talks about uninstalling webhooks.

It should explain what an app author should do if they've added a webhook to a repository using their app and the repository has uninstalled their app, resulting in webhook events that they can't suppress as they no longer have permissions to manage the repository.

Thanks for opening this issue! For GitHub Apps, the webhook should be automatically cleaned up. For OAuth apps, there isn’t anything you can do about this right now, other than ask the user to remove the webhook manually. I agree that this would be good to mention in the docs. I would suggest updating https://docs.github.com/en/developers/apps/getting-started-with-apps/differences-between-github-apps-and-oauth-apps#webhooks to say something like Webhooks are automatically disabled if the app is uninstalled for GitHub Apps and Webhooks are not automatically disabled if an OAuth access token is deleted, and there is no way to clean them up automatically. You will have to ask users to do this manually. for OAuth Apps.
