We need an option to suppress this error, as it is also displayed in situations where a global-error file is not required.

Thank you, Iforst!! Maybe adding it to options is a bad idea?

I will add a mechanism to opt out via an environment variable. I don't really like putting it into options because then it will become quite permanent in TypeScript type definitions and such.
