Jinx doesn't work (any more?) -- emacs 29.4

I don't remember if it ever happened before, but it looks like web-mode (v20241227.530) doesn't like (any more) jinx (v20250505.1641), or the other way around. No spellchecking decorations appear, no errors reported!?
