Mananger

A versatile Python bot for managing and moderating Discord group DMs, built using the discum library. It provides a range of features from moderation and role management to group protection and customizable messages.

Installation & Setup

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/fqhy/manager.git
   cd manager

2. Install dependencies:

   pip install discum requests

3. Configure the bot:

   • Open thangs.json and fill in the required values. See the Configuration section below for details.

4. Run the bot:

   python bot.py

*I'd recommend creating an alt account and giving the group chat ownership to that account, to avoid accident account termination (self botting is direct ToS violation, but after months of testing, my account is still up and running). Current logic doesn't do any risky requests, so for now, this should be fine.

Configuration

All bot settings are managed in the thangs.json file.

• user_token: (Required) Your Discord user token.
• group_dm_id: (Required) The ID of the group DM you want the bot to operate in.
• admin_user_id: (Required) The Discord user ID of the person who owns and controls the bot.
• moderator_ids: A list of user IDs for moderators.
• administrator_ids: A list of user IDs for administrators.
• All other keys are for customizing bot messages and behavior. You can edit their values as needed.
