This isn't a comprehensive patch and I haven't tested this project too thoroughly in vs 2015 but at an initial glance this project is compatible with vs 2015 as long as the manifest is updated to support it. Chances are you probably want to add each version of visual studio to the manifest. I have just created this pull request to see if you are interested in publishing an updated version of this package to the store:
