Some users are getting #include <gmp.h> errors despite following exact install instructions

As per the hackathon member last saturday, for some weird reason some users are getting gmp.h file not found error when installing, http://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/133/osx-fatal-error-with-go-client#latest

OSX 10.9.3 Mavericks

I've just come across this issue on Mac 10.9.5.

To resolve I used brew to install GMP:

$ brew install gmp

I just reproduced this on Red Hat. gmp is already installed.

Package gmp-4.3.1-7.el6_2.2.x86_64 already installed and latest version
