Description
At least on macos, an exception is logged:
CONFIG: Failed to initialize local multicast, funcionality disabled. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: IPv6 socket cannot join IPv4 multicast group
As a result, the client cannot connect to IOCs running on the same machine unless EPICS_PVA_AUTO_ADDR_LIST=YES.
