Slate: cmd+m both toggles markdown and minimises the window

It should definitely do just one of those things. It always used to do the former although I would really love if it did the latter and we found a non-clashing shortcut for markdown toggle.

I don't habitually use cmd+m (for either) so I hadn't noticed the clash. Clashing with system shortcuts is pretty rude.

I don't think that this is a blocker for the current release, but it's certainly something I'd like to fix soon.

Unfortunately cmd+{m,a,r,k,d,o,w,n} are all already taken. The closest to being available is cmd+k (which is only 'focus address bar' on firefox), but of course we already use that for switching to the roomlist filter.

/me confirms this is now fixed (inasmuch as the old behaviour is restored - we override the OS default and capture cmd+m for markdown mode toggle.
