Can't close the thread panel #24213

Steps to reproduce
I don't know how I ended up in this situation, but today, I cannot close the thread panel. I have attempted to click on the "x" or on the bubble button, in vain.
I also cannot switch between two threads in the main room.
Outcome
I'd like to look at other threads than the one I'm currently looking at.
