Could not reproduce on a staging env

   or
   https://github.com/vector-im/element-desktop/releases
   I can't recall excatly I'm afraid

   Yes and the same problem occurs

This has just happened to another user of Element Nightly (discussed in an internal room)
They would likely give the same answers as Gaelle did above.

To give one more data point, even if it's not a helpful one: I got stuck on running Nightly version 2023041901...

Now I manually downloaded the .dmg again, copied the executable to my Applications directory and I'm running the latest 2023042801 again.

This issue is still being present, by the way. Even now that I'm on 2023050201.
I figure Electron's updater must be borked or I must have somehow ended up with a config that is (somehow) breaking updates...

I managed to hit this on my dev machine, running with the terminal open I see
