I don't notice that certain websites have ads because our @home network has a PiHole to nuke them!
But when I'm visiting family, I see them everywhere!!

So ... thinking of setting up PiHole on Hetzner dwyl/learn-devops#97 (or other cheap VPS provider) so that I never have to see ads no matter where I'm working.

Edit/Note: I've never played these time-suck "casual" games so I don't know why they are being pushed on me. 🤷‍♂️
I play chess puzzles e.g: nelsonic/learn-chess#13 which have significantly improved my thinking and chess skills. But that's less than T5m/day and not a pointless time-suck game.
