Provide a Rest or gRPC endpoint for querying the proxy status and configuration

Why is this important to you?

When multiple instances of the proxy are deployed, you'll want to be able to centrally manage the configuration and understand the status.

Builds upon #125 (API for proxy status), and is a foundation for #123 Proxy Dashboard.

Tracking these as a set of related work items as they build upon each other and can be delivered independently.

I would like to have an ability to configure aggregation and mutation of OpenApi schemas based on YARP config when YARP is used as an API Gateway. This would help us provide documentation for an external client.

Is there an issue or discussion that actively tracks an interest or developments in this area?

If there is not, I'd like permission to create one and keep it open. Even if it'll be decided that this feature in no way will be part of YARP, in any point in future, having an open issue could help with discovery of community offerings, if there is an interest.

@kyrvlasiuk you don't need permission to file an issue. From your brief description, it is not clear to me what exactly you expect. Please file a new issue.
