On Windows, as part of VisualStudio installer, we can install the Microsoft OpenJdk version. This jdk has priority when we select the default for the user.

(This is done principally because Google's Android SDK tooling still requires JDK 1.8, and Oracle will be making it more difficult to download and install JDK 1.8 at a future point in time. We have deemed it easier to maintain and install our own OpenJDK 1.8 build so that Google's Android SDK tooling can continue to run.) Microsoft's OpenJDK install has priority when determining a default JDK for developers.
