Requesting an Icon
Important: Please create a separate issue for each icon request.
- 
Search for Existing Issues
Before submitting a new icon request, search for any existing issues with the same icon name. - 
Create a New Issue
If no issue exists, create a new one using our Issue Form.- Use the Issue Template and ensure all necessary information is filled out.
 

 
Sometimes, logos are updated or an error is spotted in the SVG/icon. If this happens, the current icon in our repository might need an update.

Open a New Icon Request Issue
Describe the update or issue with the icon. - 
Include a Link
If it’s an update, provide a link to the new logo or official announcement. 
- 
Create a Commit
Make the necessary changes to the SVG and commit them. - 
Follow Submission Guidelines
Follow the steps outlined in Overview on Submitting Icons. Replacenewwithupdate. - 
Open a Pull Request
Submit the changes via a pull request to thedevelopbranch. - 
Name the Pull Request
Instead of naming the pull request “new icon,” name it as follows:
