My name is Gisele, and I've been exploring the validate package for clinical data validation workflows. First, I want to say thank you for creating such a powerful and flexible tool!

While working through some validation scenarios, I noticed that users (especially those new to the package or coming from clinical research backgrounds) might benefit from a dedicated FAQ or Troubleshooting section in the documentation.

Suggestion

Consider adding a FAQ/Troubleshooting section specifically addressing common clinical data validation use cases. This could include:

• Common validation patterns for clinical trials data
• Troubleshooting tips for rule conflicts
• Best practices for validating patient data with privacy considerations
• How to handle missing data patterns typical in clinical settings

Example User Question

For instance, a typical question from clinical data users might be:

"How do I validate that patient dates (enrollment, treatment, follow-up) are in logical sequence while handling missing dates gracefully?"

This type of FAQ could help users quickly find solutions without needing to dig through issues or the general documentation.

Hi Giselle,

Thanks for the suggestion! An FAQ seems a really nice idea. It would have to be user-contributed, especially since it will likely include many questions that are specific to subjects in which we have no expertise.

The GitHub wiki seems a good place for it. And I could add links to it from the other documentation.

I have created a wiki Homepage, and a sub-page on Clinical Data: https://github.com/data-cleaning/validate/wiki

It would be great if you could add a few FAQs to the latter page. At the moment I have no idea about formatting and so on. The question is currently an h3 element. If this grows, we should probably give some advice to contributors so things will look a bit uniform.

I'm not sure about rights management at the wiki. Just try to add something and let me know if I need to take action.
