Situation
Examples in the examples sub-directories, with exception of examples/firefox-esr, are currently configured to use [email protected], released Aug 20, 2025.
The examples/firefox-esr example directory was held back at [email protected] pending release of a suitable Firefox ESR release as a Debian package. Debian
trixie(stable) has now released firefox-esr140.3.0esr-1~deb13u1[security]: amd64 arm64 armhf ppc64el riscv64, which meets the requirements of Cypress 15 for Firefox >=135.The latest version of Cypress is [email protected], released Sep 23, 2025.
Change
Update Cypress in examples sub-directories to [email protected] for parity with the latest released version of Cypress:
Bump specified versions in examples/chrome-for-testing to currently supported Chrome versions (current range: 140, 139, 138):
