Where is version 1.8.3?

I see this commit from 5 months ago, but then there is no sign of a version 1.8.3: 21254fa
In my case, I am interested in some changes related to Avro that have never been included in a release.

Thanks for asking, the tentative ETA is next week. But the version number would be 1.9.0 instead of 1.8.3

The v1.9.0 release now has Python 3.10 wheels
