interrupt close event on Modal

Is it possible to interrupt the close event of Modal? the dispatched 'close' event seems to happen after the Modal is already toggled to be closed so preventDefault doesn't stop it from closing. I'd like to be able to show a warning to the user before the modal closes if they have info filled out in the modal and they attempt to close the modal without saving the info.

I do not know your specific case, but e.stopImmediatePropagation() worked for me in different close event situation.

That doesn't work in this case because the close event in Modal is fired after the modal has started closing. It would be really nice if that worked though. My two workaround ideas so far are:

• addEventListener on .bx---modal-close and use e.stopImmediatePropagation()
• display:none the built-in close button with css and make a new one that I control in the same place
